The Shakti Tantra family are running a number of workshops at Connect and will be holding the Connect Yurt space this summer. This well established tantra school was founded by Hilly Spenceley, a powerful and dynamic sexual/spiritual teacher.

The talk is called We Grow and it’s about supporting each other and our communities particularly in these times, growing food and reaching out to support those in need.

Joelle Adams - Authentic Alignment: Integrating psychedelic and other exceptional experiences
Joelle Adams is a PhD Researcher in Applied Transpersonal Psychology at the Alef Trust (in partnership with LJMU), with a focus on the integration of psychedelic and other exceptional experiences. She also has a Master's in Higher Education and is an accredited transpersonal coach. Joelle's work focuses on self-transcendence for improved wellbeing and prosocial behaviour, and she also teaches critical thinking at Santa Monica College in California.

Jimmy Greenwood from Black Cat Cacao will share his personal journey with cacao — how working with whole, ceremonial-grade cacao shifted his relationship to food, attention, and intention — and why cacao has been used for centuries as a communal drink rather than a stimulant or a sweet.

Breath and Sound with Sasha and Beth
This session combines guided conscious connected breathwork with the therapeutic sounds of the crystal bowls to support regulation of the nervous system. Beth & Sasha create a comfortable environment where breath helps you drop into your body and sound encourages deeper relaxation. The experience is designed to ease overwhelm, quiet internal noise, and promote a sense of calm that lingers long after the session ends.

Sound experience with Tallulah Rendall
A truly immersive experience that uses the vibrations and resonant sounds of my voice, singing bowls, gongs, to induce a deeply relaxed, meditative state.
Participants are invited to experience the transformative practice of loving kindness and be held in a sonic transmission of love, whilst also learning tools to regulate their nervous systems.

Shamanic drum journey
The themes and energy for the drum journey usually drop in intuitively nearer the time of the event but might be something like meeting your dragon guides, a drum journey to release old energies, meet a particular goddess/guide. The intention is set before we journey.
The journey consists of Open sacred space , Intro to journeying and how I work , Sharing circle (approx 20mins depending on numbers) , Intro to dum journeying , Drum journey (approx 20mins) , Rest and integration
